Addressing the climate and ecological emergencies these webinars explore sustainable food growing and show simple ways to have a positive impact on the environment – improving mental health in the process

What is Sustainable Food? (1.5hrs)

Industrial v Sustainable Agriculture and why we need to understand the issues for the future of the planet. Placing community and individual growing within a global context, this webinar offers inspiration to get involved and why we need to look at the bigger picture as home gardeners and food consumers.

Sustainable Food Growing at Home  (1.5hrs)

Focuses on all the key issues of individual and community organic food growing in the UK and beyond. How to assess your site, choose what to grow, source seed, manage “pests” organically and enjoy your crops, and be inspired to start growing!

Gardeners Question Time (1hr)

A chance to ask our experts all your food-growing gardening questions without the use of herbicides, pesticides or peat-based compost with the opportunity to show your plant queries on screen and share your knowledge and experience within the group.

Virtual Gardens Tour (1hr)

Virtual tour around our beautifully designed community gardens and street greening project in East London: highlighting gardening techniques that respond to both drought and heavy rainfall in today’s unpredictable climate – including innovative water-storage, and solar-powered irrigation techniques you can try at home.
