COURSE OUTLINE
This carefully structured course aims to teach members how to:
• Confidently use a digital camera including macro, flash and
low light features
• Be able to download these photos onto a computer
• Use all of the tools within Photoshop to a sufficient working level
• Touch up damaged and badly exposed photographs
• Convert black and white photos into full colour
• Understand printing and print resolution
• Understand all other aspects of digital restoration techniques
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
Educational: to develop learner's skills and promote independence in using a digital camera and the Adobe Photoshop program.
Artistic: to enable and inspire learners to create their own artwork using the program.
Technical: to develop general computer skills.
OUTCOMES
By the end of the course, learners will:
• Be able to use Photoshop independently to create their own artwork
• Have increased confidence in using computers in general, and specifically Photoshop
• Have increased confidence in using digital cameras
