COURSE OUTLINE
“The OCR Certificate/Diploma for IT Users is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users everywhere, whether in employment, education.”

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
This course will enable learners to follow units from the CLaIT programme and to:
• gain confidence in using computers with the most widely used software packages
• have the opportunity to gain an nationally recognised qualification

OUTCOMES
Learners will gain skills and confidence in the following areas:
• using a computer
• word processing
• computer art
• desktop publishing
• electronic communication

• Further IT courses at a further education college
• Employment
