Schools.

Our site offers lots of opportunities for children of all abilities to engage with nature and horticulture including:

One-off workshops for School, Community or Patient Groups to promote general health and wellbeing.

Some areas covered: setting up community and school gardens/funding/wide range of horticulture skills/art based children’s activities/carpentry and construction skills or other areas of interest.

•       Short taster sessions on area of choice approx x 1hr
•       Half day sessions up to 2-3hrs long at Core Landscapes
•       Full day sessions up to 5 hrs long  at Core Landscapes
•       Site visits for groups

The advice and training given is delivered by experienced tutor with 8+ years of setting up and managing community growing projects. Horticulturally trained at Capel Manor College and past trainer for the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and Capital Growth. Garden and planting design service also available.
